  Dubai, Dec. 10 (Reporter Li Hongmei, Ren Haoyu) During the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), China announced that it would lead the launch of the "Kunming - Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework" (hereinafter referred to as the "Kunming Framework") implementation initiative.

China's Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu attended the high-level event to promote the implementation of the "3030" target under the "Kunming Framework" on the 9th, in his capacity as President of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, announced to lead the launch of the "Kunming Framework" implementation initiative.
  At the second phase of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity held in December last year, China, as its chair, helped reach a landmark package of decisions, including the Kummong-Mongolia Framework.Among them, the "3030" target plays an important role in promoting the protection of biodiversity and coping with climate change, and enhancing the climate resilience of the Earth's community of life.
  Huang Yunqiu announced that in order to further gather the political will of all parties to implement the "Kunming Framework", China officially took the lead in launching the "Kunming Framework" implementation initiative, and is willing to work with the international community to jointly cope with global challenges such as biodiversity loss and climate change, jointly promote the success of COP28, and build a harmonious coexistence of human and nature earth home.
